Golden Lights

I dream to reach

Those golden lights

Split my core in two

Rivet me, so captivating

Entranced in their halo

Like leaves in the fall

I slowly dangle off

Sway into the wind

Spanning stretch of miles

Of deserts vast and

Oceans bursting life

These golden lights

They still shine

And just a wink

Will do me in

And once again

Like in autumn

Crunch, and scatter

Under every footstep

Of my lost

wandering soul.
